job and wasn't permitted to leave casually. I had to call my partner out of
afternoon meetings to get to the lot on-time as to not pay an overnight fees. In
the end however, the same customer service person was very kind when my husband
called me in panic because the TTC halted as he was rushing to make it on-time.
It was a stressful afternoon for us, but understandably the staff did what they
could and everything worked out okay.

distance of my home. My time is limited and my brakes were in desperate need of
repair and my oil needed to be changed. An associate there mentioned that brake
service should cost $6-700 when I was booking my appointment. Once I had the
dropped off my car and I got an estimate the cost for the brake job on my Subaru
Impreza was almost $1800. I reluctantly agreed to get the service done. After my
service I contacted Subaru to get a competitive price for the pads and rotors.
Midas charged close to $400 more. They have coupons on line for both oil changes
and brakes but neither were mentioned when I was providing my estimate.

When I picked it up, I found one of the pieces laying on the ground in the
passenger seat. Thankfully it was just the cover to the cabin air filter, which
is an easy fix with some Googling, but what if it has been a crucial part or
something that made it dangerous to drive? The person who answered the phone
when I called said they'd "ask the technician", and he claimed to have no
knowledge of it. This is not OK, and I will not be returning.

the booking system, the established protocols, and office staff. I’m not sure
how competitive the pricing is or how it compares to the independents. I suspect
I was paying for the established franchise systems, service and staff, but it
was imperative that the vehicle be in good operation for my daughter as quickly
and efficiently as possible. It was a ‘treat’ for me to engage with a clean and
well-operated vehicle business. And it was enjoyable to be greeted by the two
female staff. And I was asked to come back in two weeks to tighten the wheels
which I’ve never been advised to do at other garages after having wheels
reattached. This was reassuring.
