Supported independent living is one type of support to help you live in your
home.

It includes help or supervision with daily tasks, like personal care or cooking
meals. It helps you live as independently as possible, while building your
skills.

TRAVEL & TRANSPORT

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provides travel assistance to
eligible participants who require support to access disability services. To be
eligible for NDIS travel assistance, a participant must demonstrate that they
cannot use public transport without substantial difficulty.
