WILLIAMS GROVE SPEEDWAY

Since its beginning in 1939, Williams Grove Speedway has been one of the top
weekly sprint car tracks in the country. The speedway is a 1/2 mile banked
smooth clay oval with speeds reaching in excess of 100 mph. The 2023 racing
season runs from March to October. Our largest show, the World of Outlaws
National Open will pay $75,000 to the winner plus over $160,000 in total prize
money. Season admission prices range from $15 to $45 for adults with discounted
youth (Ages 13-20) priced from $10-$20 and Kids 12 and under are always FREE.
Special sanctioned race events include the World of Outlaws Sprint Cars, ULMS
Late Models, United States Auto Club, All-Star Circuit of Champions, United
Racing Club and the PA Sprint Series. Other racing divisions appearing
throughout the season include 358 sprint cars, 360 sprint cars, super late
models, modifieds and super sportsman. We strive to be a family oriented
facility by hosting School's Out Night, the Math Fact Challenge, Fan
Appreciation Night and by supporting many local and national charities.

Racing Returns To Williams Grove In Two Weeks, Final Races Of 2023 Season Lie
Ahead
358 Match Race purse worth nearly $21,000

Mechanicsburg – Williams Grove Speedway returns to action on Friday night,
September 15 with the Billy Kimmel Memorial for Lawrence Chevrolet 410 sprint
cars on VP Racing Fuels night presented by Komatsu.

The night will also feature the return of the Match Race for HJ Towing &
Recovery 358 sprint cars with a total purse of nearly $21,000 set to be split
between all 24 feature starters.

Contributors who have donated to the fantastic Match Race purse include Bill
Devine and Dirty Deeds, Ephrata Recycling, JDI Site Prep, Mamma’s Pizza, Ant
Bay, Powderworks of Mechanicsburg and Mennonite Mafia along with Williams Grove
Speedway itself.

Sprint Ownership Legacy Of Jim & Sandy Kline Honored Friday At Williams Grove

Mechanicsburg – The sprint car ownership career of one of racings most famous
couples will be feted this Friday night, September 1 at Williams Grove Speedway
when the historic oval spins off the C&D Rigging Jim and Sandy Kline Tribute
Race for Lawrence Chevrolet 410 sprints, paying 6K to win as part of the Hoosier
Diamond Series.

No. 22 car owners Jim and Sandy Kline of Grantville celebrate Williams Grove
victory lane in 2005 with pilot Jason Johnson.

The HJ Towing & Recovery 358 sprints are also on the racing card along with
fireworks.

The Klines of Grantville began their No. 22 ownership career in the region in
2001 when their son Dean had a need for speed.

Kline Tribute 25-lapper pays $6,000 to win

Mechanicsburg – Williams Grove Speedway will honor former champion sprint car
owners Jim and Sandy Kline of Grantville coming up this Friday night, September
1 when it presents the C&D Rigging Jim and Sandy Kline Tribute Race for Lawrence
Chevrolet 410 sprint cars, paying $6,000 to win.

Also on the holiday racing card will be the HJ Towing & Recovery 358 sprint
cars.

The 25-lap Kline Tribute Race will be part of the 2023 Hoosier Diamond Series at
Williams Grove.

Time trials will be used to set the 410 sprint heat starting grids with the
overall fast qualifier earning the $300 Fast Tees Fast Time Award, in honor of
late track champion Jimm

Marks Continues String Of Big Money Williams Grove Wins With Kline Tribute
Wolf gets career first W in 358s

Mechanicsburg – Brent Marks continued his string of 2023 big money race wins at
Williams Grove Speedway on Friday night when he dominated the C & D Rigging Jim
and Sandy Kline Tribute Race for Lawrence Chevrolet 410 sprint cars.

Marks’ win was worth $7,100 thanks to a $1,100 bonus as posted by the Klines,
former owners of the famed No. 22 sprint car driven by Greg Hodnett, Fred Rahmer
and others.

The victory pushed Marks’ total earnings in his four oval wins to date this
season to a cool $45,100 after also claiming the Tommy Hinnershitz Classic in
April, the Mitch Smith Memoria
