CLOSE RELATIONSHIPS WITH GLOBAL STAKEHOLDERS ARE KEY

As the world's largest aerospace company and leading manufacturer of commercial
jetliners and defense, space and security systems, Boeing supports airlines and
U.S. allied government customers in 150 countries. The company employs
approximately 145,000 employees across the United States and in more than 65
countries, and leverages the talents of skilled people working for Boeing
suppliers worldwide. Boeing is organized into three business units: Boeing
Commercial Airplanes, Boeing Defense, Space & Security and Boeing Global
Services, and is supported by Boeing Global. Boeing Global was established in
2001 and is responsible for the company's international strategy and operations.
The organization leads development of the company's growth and productivity
initiatives outside the U.S. and new business and industrial partnerships. It
also oversees international affairs, enhances local presence and provides global
functional support.

Touching every continent, the organization has regional executives in offices
worldwide and is led by Dr. Brendan Nelson, president of Boeing Global. Nelson
reports to the Boeing chairman and CEO and is a member of the company's
Executive Council.

GLOBAL FOCUS

Around the world, Boeing is developing partnerships that benefit its customers
and business partners as well as local economies. As a result, the company is
strengthened by growing sales and by tapping the best technologies the world has
to offer. International sales are driving company revenues with more than 70
percent of total backlog represented by international customers. Approximately
70 percent of Boeing Commercial Airplanes' revenue historically comes from
customers from outside the United States, including many from emerging markets.
International sales are rapidly increasing as a portion of Boeing Defense, Space
& Security's total revenue.

Doing business in today's global economy also means partnering for mutual growth
and prosperity, within each country, with local suppliers, universities,
research talent, and charitable institutions. Boeing Global is focused on
growing a meaningful, mutually beneficial global presence.

 * The Boeing supplier network includes more than 20,000 suppliers and partners.
 * Boeing has 11 research & development centers, 16 consortia and 22 joint
   research centers.
 * Boeing has relationships with more than 50 international universities.
 * Boeing employees volunteer around the world to support many charitable
   endeavors.
 * More than 660 charitable grants of $40 million were distributed outside of
   the United States.

REGIONAL LEADERS

Boeing Global regional executives serve as the company’s senior in-country
executives and lead enterprise-wide activities in non-US markets. They are
responsible for enhancing Boeing’s local presence, for managing business
partnerships, government affairs, and corporate citizenship, and for the
development and implementation of enterprise country strategies focused on new
growth and productivity initiatives and relationships with customers and
stakeholders. In this role, they also:

 * Provide strategic counsel on political, economic, industrial, and stakeholder
   developments around the world.
 * Provide seamless functional support to business units operating in region.
 * Execute special initiatives for the business units.
 * Collaborate with Government Operations to create an integrated view of US,
non-US, and global government issues and developments.
 * Ensure good corporate citizenship around the world by developing policies and
procedures that comply with the diverse laws, customs, and business.

Their local knowledge, expertise and resources are a competitive differentiator
for the company.
