Why should I consider transitioning from residential to commercial real estate?


Commercial Real Estate involves bigger deals with financially driven Landlords,
Investors & Business Owner, resulting in much bigger commissions while building
valuable relationships

Whereas Residential typically involves smaller deal sizes and the constant
struggle dealing with emotional Home Buyers & Sellers and spending your weekends
at open houses.

What are the main differences between residential and commercial real estate?


Residential real estate involves a lot more emotions and dealing with draining
tire-kickers.

Whereas Commercial real estate involes financially driven Landlords & Investors
that are constantly looking to Buy, Sell or Trade up to bigger and bigger
properties.

How can your coaching program help me transition to commercial real estate?


There's two ways to learn something new and complex:
a. With lots of wasted time and personal Trial & Error.
b. From a mentor who's already learned what works, and made the mistakes so you
don't have to.

With commissions ranging from $40,000 - $100,000+ each, it's way too costly to
try to learn it on your own. Every deal that happens without you is another 5 or
6 figure commission going to your competitor while you're sitting there guessing
where you want wrong and what you're going to do the next time around.

How long does it typically take to transition from residential to commercial
real estate?


Many Real Estate Agents get their first commercial deal closed within 6 months,
with some doing it even sooner.

Like everything, the more you're willing to put it, the quicker you'll see
results.

Do I need to have a background in finance or business to succeed in commercial
real estate?


No.

If you're able to do basic addition subtraction, multiplication and division
(and yes you can use a calculator), you can handle commercial real estate math.

Can I continue working in residential real estate while transitioning to
commercial?


Absolutely!

Many Agents continue their residential business, and begin selling commercial
properties to diversify and build another stream of income using the license
they already have!

Many get hooked on the bigger commissions without the emotional home buyers and
make a full time switch, but that's ultimately up to you.

Will my residential real estate experience be valuable in commercial real
estate?


There's certain skills that can definitely overlap such as Sales,
Communication, Marketing/Personal Branding.

Your residential experience will help, although residential experience is not a
required pre-requisite to Commercial real estate.
