I provide high quality in-home care for you or your loved one, helping to
enhance your quality of life.


CARE

I provide quality and specialised personal care, promoting and encouraging
clients to remain and retain their ability to live independently in their own
home


NURSING

 * Private nursing - part-time, short-term
 * Medication monitoring and management
 * Palliative/end of life care
 * Specialist care for clients who have Dementia or Alzheimer’s Disease
 * Support with chronic medical illness, strokes, Parkinson’s disease,
   arthritis, diabetes


SUPPORT

 * Social support
 * Support and client advocacy
 * Assistance with GP or specialist appointments
 * Assistance with shopping
 * Companionship/sitter service
 * Escorting clients on outings and social events
 * Collaboration with daily carers from other agencies

LETA GUDMANZ

Registered Nurse




REGISTERED NURSE

I am a New Zealand Registered Nurse with significant experience working with the
elderly in their homes, rest homes, and hospital care environments.

I have worked and lived in Christchurch and four years ago moved to Dunedin and
made it my home. I have been enjoying working in community settings here in
Dunedin and spending time with family.


EXPERIENCE

I have worked extensively with the older age group. I worked in Aged Care for 15
years and was nurse manager in a rest home for 10 years. I spent 5 years as a
practice nurse in a practice of 5 GP's.

I have 6 years community nursing experience. I have worked with palliative care
and in long term hospital nursing. I have empathy, knowledge and understanding
in supporting people and their families with dementia.


SUPPORT

I would like to share my knowledge, expertise and experience with others,
enabling them to remain living in their own homes and encouraging clients to
lead as active a life as possible.

Providing reassurance and support to family ensuring a coordinated, holistic
care package.
