Search * Search "" * Explore * Community * Jobs * Companies * Salaries For Employers Help Center Home REVIEW INTEGRITY & FRAUD DETECTION Updated 17 October, 2024 Glassdoor strives to be the most trusted and transparent website for today's candidates to search for jobs and research companies. Every review on Glassdoor goes through a moderation process before it is approved to be published on our site. Here are some things to know about our approach to content that has been submitted: * We treat all content the same and apply the same standards to each review * We do not remove or hide content simply because it is negative or positive * We never edit or alter the text of the reviews on our site * We stay neutral in all cases of dispute * We do not fact-check statements, we are a neutral forum, and will not fact-check each statement in a review. We do follow policies to ensure that the feedback submitted on our platform is authentic. If we believe that the integrity of a review does not meet our standards, it will be removed. Some examples of users breaking these policies: * Multiple accounts were created to leave multiple reviews for the same company * Leaving reviews on behalf of others * Impersonation * Inauthentic or copied content * Asking others to write a review on their behalf Some examples of Employers breaking these policies: * Coerce or incentivize employees to write reviews * Ask for "proof" of reviews * Participate in "ballot-box stuffing" Each member is able to post 1 review, per company, per year. If it is found that a user, or an employer, is breaking any of the policies listed above, we will remove all contributions from their account. When validating a review, we use unique technology filters and algorithms that we have put in place to assist with finding any possible fraudulent content. In this process, both internal software systems and the human eye are used to look at multiple attributes of a review - including IP address. Only users who have a validated account on Glassdoor can submit a review. They also must acknowledge that the review of their experience is truthful and accurate, and verify that they agree to Glassdoor's Terms of Use before submitting their feedback. If you have concerns regarding a review, flag the content to report it and tell us why you believe it is inconsistent with our Terms of Use or Community Guidelines.
