excellent base from which to pay tribute to the past. While exploring Normandy,
stop off at the new commemorative museum in Arromanches. Alternatively, pay a
visit the Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Rouen, a stunning Catholic church famous for
its three towers, each of distinctive styles and periods. 

In Rouen’s peaceful Place de la Pucelle, just a stone’s throw away from the

PODGORICA, MONTENEGRO

When Montenegrins voted for independence from Serbia in 2006, Podgorica became

Lying two hours away from the capital city Sarajevo, Mostar is a picturesque

Visit in 2024 and the city will be celebrating the 20th anniversary of the
reconstruction of Stari Most. The bridge is a living monument to the original
16th-century monument, destroyed during the Bosnian War but rebuilt as a symbol
of hope.

Make the trip to Mostar from Bosnia and Herzegovina’s capital, where you can
