You are the expert on your home, and we want to help incorporate beautiful designs and realistic functions through specialized cabinetry. We come to you from consultations to building and assembling all in-house. Delivery Work Area Installation Finalization Countertops Counter Construction Hardware Delivery CREATING THE PERFECT WORKING CONDITIONS Once you have a scheduled installation date, you can expect the cabinets to be delivered the day before or the morning of. We will send you a reminder one week before the delivery date so you can plan accordingly, and it will be accompanied by a pre-signed Site Readiness Checklist. To protect our team of experts, please ensure that there is a safe, clear passageway from your driveway to the makeshift work area. This includes room on the driveway or in front of your home for unloading the truck. Additionally, please ensure that all stairwells or openings have railings. The makeshift work area needs to be placed near the room where the cabinets will be installed. Please ensure that there is ample space for all items to be stored while also allowing installers the ability to access, sort, and move cabinets comfortably during the entirety of the installation. There should be no appliances hooked up during the installation, including fridges, washers, and dryers. These large appliances will take up important space that our installers need to maneuver and position your cabinets for efficient installation. Work Area PROTECTING YOUR HOME AND YOURSELF DURING CONSTRUCTION During installation, our team will be working with a variety of saws and other tools indoors and outside to make necessary cuts. Indoor or outdoor spaces available to the team can be pre-arranged with the Install Manager and should have ample space, heat and light. To ensure your safety while we are onsite, please arrange to keep pets and young children away from the workplace. With so many moving parts and tools, minimizing risk to our team and your family will allow us to maintain a safe working environment. Installation SEE YOUR SPACE COME TO LIFE Our installers will arrive on-site between 8:00 and 10:00 a.m. on the day of the installation. Please note that Rodina Cabinets is not responsible for moving or altering HVAC, electrical or plumbing. If this must be changed, please arrange for alterations before the installation date. If island or base cabinets require fittings, our installers will cut and drill the appropriate openings. Once all base, upper and island cabinets are secured, aesthetic items will be installed. These include panels, necessary fillers, decorative trim and mouldings, and hardware. Finalization FINAL STEPS AND FIRST IMPRESSIONS We want to help you get back to making the most of your space, and that starts with a clean site. Garbage removal will typically take place on the final day of installation or the day after. Please keep in mind that some items may be damaged or missing from the initial installation. These items will be addressed during the post-installation process, which will involve your final walkthrough inspection and any service work that is required. Countertops SELECTING YOUR WORKSPACE Stone countertops such as Granite, Quartz and Marble, will all have to be correctly measured and templated after base cabinet installation. A countertop specialist will arrive 1-2 days after cabinet installation to measure and template the base cabinets for your pre-approved countertop selection. Once measurements have been confirmed, your new countertop will arrive for installation in roughly 1-3 weeks based on the template. Our standard hardware is soft-closing hinges and soft-closing full-extension under-mount drawer guides that are rated for 50KG (100+ LBS) minimum!
