He earned a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (M.A. Psych) and a master’s in administrative science with a specialization in global health and human services administration (M.A.S). His academic journey includes a Bachelor of Sciences from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University in India. Furthermore, Bala possesses specialized training, having acquired a Diploma in Telemental Health Counselling from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology and completed Trauma-Informed Practice Training Levels I, II, and III at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada. As a Canadian-certified counsellor (CCC) and a British Columbia-registered clinical counsellor (RCC), he operates a private practice offering comprehensive counselling and rehabilitation services. His focus primarily centres on providing counselling services to the indigenous population. With a robust professional background, Bala brings 13 years of proven experience in management and senior management roles within health and social services, education, culture, and employment departments. His expertise spans both government and non-profit organizations, showcasing his commitment to making a positive impact on communities across North America and Asia.
