Oscar, you're invited to SDI's first virtual event of 2022 focusing on the value
of end user experience on Wednesday 9 February - just over two weeks away!

While the majority of us are familiar with service level agreements (SLAs), how
many of us are now moving towards experience level agreements (XLAs)?

What are XLAs we hear you cry! In the Gartner Hype Cycle for the Digital
Workplace 2020, researchers Daniel Barros and David Groombridge define them:
“XLAs help drive better IT experiences by leveraging elements of digital
experience monitoring (DEM), sentiment analysis and traditional service level
metrics that monitor the timeliness and effectiveness of supporting processes,”

So unlike SLAs which measure raw IT productivity and efficiency metrics, XLAs
measure employee experience with IT services and technology.
