What is it?

These are our set of Trot bowls! A stainless steal silicone mat system with a
slow puzzle feeder to ensure any messy or excited eaters have an engaging and
mess free eating experience.

Who created it?

Izzy Pasarow and Timothy Dir. They are both animal lovers at heart. The Trot
Puzzle Slow Feeder came to be after they noticed how fast their own pets were
eating, often leading to discomfort, throwing up, and even weight gain. Izzy and
Tim set off on designing the stainless steel bowls, but ultimately decided to
see what else they could do to rethink meal time and make the best pet feeding
system out there.

Why are you pre-ordering?

Making this product out of stainless steel requires expensive molds that will
stamp the unique design into the bowl. By pre-ordering this product, we will be
able to offer discounts to early supporters in exchange for their help in
funding these initial upfront costs.

Why should we use it?

All of our bowls are high grade stainless steel with an option for a slow puzzle
feeder. These bowls will not only engage your dog, but keep them healthier by
slowing down their eating. Combined together, you have an amazing mix durability
and healthier happier dogs. This is perfect for anyone with a dog who eats fast
or also anyone who wants their dogs to enjoy the challenge of meal time.

What do we get when we order?

Customers have a choice of getting a slow feeder bowl, a regular bowl, and a
silicone mat. These come in any combination or a complete set together. Each
bowl comes with an air tight lid. 

What colors do you offer?

We offer 7 interchangeable colors. Sky, Coral, Canary, Cobalt, Black, Slate, &
Bone. 

What is the uniqueness of the technology?

Our durable and powerful magnets help prevent our bowl from sliding or tipping,
the use of high grade stainless steel and complex internal shape creates a
unique and engaging experience for your pet.

How does it work?

The intricate design inside the bowl creates a game-like challenge for pets who
normally chow down their food in seconds. By slowing down fast eaters, the Slow
Feeder allows for proper digestion and engages your animal to keep them happier
and healthier during meal time.

Where is it manufactured?

Our products are designed in Santa Barbara, California. Trot bowls are then
manufactured through our partners in Asia, who we’ve vetted extensively for
their use of the highest quality materials, safety measures, and labor practices
to create the best possible products. We’re proud to call them both partners and
friends. Trot products are then inspected by hand in the U.S. and then
independently tested before making their way to your home for a lifetime of use
that we know you'll enjoy.

How do I set it up?

If you did not purchase the mat, the bowls ship with a small metal disc with a
3m adhesive sticker backing. Remove the sticker backing and place the disc on
the floor in the center of the desired location of each bowl. If you ordered a
mat, the metal disc is incorporated in the mat, therefore no installation is
needed.

Is it safe?

Yes, Due to its metal construction, these bowls are much safer for your pet than
other plastic slow feeders. Dogs often chew on plastic slow feeders leading to
either ingestion or even in extreme cases choking. Our high grade silicone and
stainless steel keeps your dog safe and engaged when eating.

How durable is it?

The bowl is double walled stainless steel combined with a high grade silicone
mat making it perfect for heavy chewers.
