WELCOME TO AQUILA SAFARI

Welcome to a Big-5 experience. Aquila offers you a unique opportunity to see
lions, rhino, buffalo, elephants and leopard up close. Additional wildlife and
flora is available to view on our once-in-a-lifetime game drives.

ACCOMMODATION | CHALETS

Aquila has two large swimming pools, each with a pool bar, overlooking the
reserve. There is a large African-style dining area, and two smaller dining
areas - all with blazing log fires and smoky cigar bars. A library, curio shop
and children’s entertainment area is also available.

CONFERENCING VENU

Aquila Game Reserve is located in Touwsrivier, is under two hours drive from
Cape Town. Aquila is an ideal executive getaway and Cape Town conference centre.
There are a variety of room set-ups possible, full catering amenities and
stately conferencing equipment.

ACTIVITIES WE OFFER

Adventure quad-biking on hilly roads, roaming the woods on horseback, slow
champagne sunset safaris, and close encounters with the Big Five are only a few
of the things you can expect on an Aquila Cape Town Safari.

OVERNIGHT SAFARI

The Aquila overnight safari doesn’t spare on spoiling. Welcome cocktails are
served on arrival, either outside around the pools, or in front of a log fire in
the cigar bar. Before the safari departs a sizzling lunch is served at the
African character restaurant.

The Big 5 Safari Aquila 2 day safari with 1 night stay starts with a 45-60 min
flight over the majestic Hex River Mountains & vineyards – the second highest
mountain range in the Western Cape. Guests have the option to fly either via
helicopter or airplane.

COMBO BIG 5 SAFARI - DAY TRIP

The Aquila combo Big 5 Safari combines a 3 hour game drive and a 1.5 hour
horseback outride OR quad bike ride . Game drives are in an open safari vehicle
and include a visit to ARC, tasty buffet breakfast & lunch and cool-off dips in
natural rock pools.

The Fly In Big 5 Safari flies over the Hex River Mountains & vineyards – the
