The Trucost Paris Alignment data assesses company-level alignment with the Paris
Agreement goal to limit global warming to well below 2 degrees C from
pre-industrial levels. The approach taken by Trucost is a transition pathway
assessment, which examines the adequacy of emissions reductions over time in
meeting a 2 degrees C carbon budget.
 
Leverage this dataset to track your portfolios and benchmarks against the goal
of limiting global warming to 1.5 degrees C and 2 degrees C climate change
scenarios. The dataset allows users to identify the scale of reductions required
by 2025 and beyond to meet the Paris Agreement goal.


This dataset includes:
 * 14,000 companies globally with a set of forward-looking analytical tools to
   quantify and track energy transition to a low carbon economy
 * Forward-looking indicators over a medium-term time horizon: minimum of five
   years historical data and six years of projected future emissions
 * Companies and sectors that are compatible with a below 2 degrees C world
