Real trucks prove their value when the job becomes tougher than expected.

That’s why customers prefer Autocar and its range of severe-duty vocational
trucks built by hand. Trucks are assembled to get those demanding jobs “Done
Done,” no matter how tough they might become.

Not every mixer delivery runs on smooth highway roads. Not every refuse route
shift starts or ends in ideal weather. When your shift coincides with a blizzard
or the delivery destination is at the end of a steep gradient, Autocar’s
severe-duty vocational trucks deliver. Getting it Done Done—not almost or nearly
done.

It’s about execution, not excuses. It’s about owning your realm of
responsibility and never leaving a task lingering for someone else. Whether you
are powering down your computer or putting down those assembly line tools at the
end of a long shift, it’s about never guessing or wondering because you know
you’ve got it Done Done.

Done Done is not a marketing tagline. It’s the standard that
every Autocar employee holds themselves to. It’s about purpose, not promises.
Done Done is our organization’s version of a handshake with authentic eye
contact. Saying it implies commitment, and hearing it builds trust. And that is
what powers the business forward. We serve our customers. We engage with our
suppliers.

But what makes Autocar really work is our people, office staff, those on the
Teams calls and our assembly line, and knowing they will get it Done Done as
much as you do.

At Autocar, the customer is our boss and we know that drivers and fleet
operators expect our trucks to exceed expectations and work to specification.
That’s why Done Done is how Autocar creates BADASS trucks that keep working when
the job goes into overtime and gets doubly demanding.

ALL AMERICAN INNOVATION

Since 1899, all Autocar trucks have been built in America and are still
assembled the right way—by hand. Autocar’s assembly workers may pass a tool to
the line technician next to them but will never pass them a task that isn’t Done
Done. That what makes our trucks BADASS: the knowledge that everyone at Autocar
owns their area of expertise, from tightening bolts to telematics.

Some truck brands claim innovation or heritage, but Autocar has both. The first
American shaft-driven vehicle was an Autocar truck. Autocar-brand trucks also
used an oil circulating system and double reduction rear axle first. Electric
trucks? That was Done Done in 1923 with the Autocar E1. Today, Autocar has done
it again with our EV (electric vehicle) terminal tractors, powered by battery
packs assembled on a dedicated line for EV truck components.

DONE DONE FOR VOCATIONS

Anything stock doesn’t work for severe-duty vocational customers because the
most extreme jobs only get Done Done with extraordinary trucks. That is why
Autocar’s product range is configured around vocations instead of platforms. Our
customers know what they need to get it Done Done, and our trucks are engineered
and assembled to be BADASS business assets instead of a stock compromise.

The Done Done way of doing things allows Autocar to offer excellent
body-to-chassis integration. Autocar offers custom-engineered chassis because we
are so committed to delivering the most custom-engineered product to meet
customers’ needs.

It’s the American way of making trucks, not the easy way—getting it Done Done
instead of wasting time imagining excuses why something can’t be an option.
Because the greatest value add for our customers is that we put our heads
together and find a way to make it work, instead of explaining why it can’t.

At Autocar, we do everything we can to reduce your risk of downtime. When a
driver or operator strides towards any Autocar in their fleet and sees its
bowtie badge on the grille, they know it’s a truck built to get the job Done
Done and get them home on time.

Watch our Done Done video. It’s a 1-minute-and-29-second declaration of
Autocar’s mission statement and an ode to the people who get it Done Done.
