TradingView is an analytical platform for technical analysis on the foreign
exchange and other markets. TradingView service provides ample opportunities for
building and personalizing charts. Also the platform acts as a social network
for traders. We consider TradingView features in our review.

TradingView features and functionality
TradingView was launched in 2011. Within a short period of time, it has become
the most popular analytical service for currency traders. TradingView is also
very popular among stock traders. Today the audience of the platform is more

The platform is presented in web-interface and as a desktop application.
TradingView Desktop supports Windows, macOS and Linux. TradingView gives users
access to charts, screeners, heatmaps and economic news. The TradingView

strategies), public and private chats, and traders' broadcasts.

A trading panel for placing orders from charts is also integrated in
TradingView. Using the panel is available to customers of Paper Trading brokers

others instruments. The flexibility of custom chart settings made TradingView

Personalization of TradingView charts
The user can always customize the chart. By clicking the right mouse button in
the chart area, select the settings.

Go to "Settings", open the window with chart parameters.

"Tool" - select the color of the candle body, its borders and wick;

"Status Bar" - selecting information about the traded asset, market status (open
or closed), opening price, high, low and close, bar change value, volume;

"Scales" - setting up the trackers on the right axis of the chart. Displaying
labels for instrument name, last symbol value, previous day's close prices, buy
and sell prices, countdown to bar close;

"Appearance" - setting the background, grid lines, font size;

"Trading". - setting up visual elements: buy/sell buttons, sound notifications
of executed and rejected orders, profit and loss display;

"Events" - displaying economic events on the chart.

In the upper panel of the chart you can select the trading instrument,
timeframe, graphical representation of the price (bars, candlesticks, bars,
etc.), indicators and alerts. All settings are saved when you exit the account.

Premium subscriptions. Subscription is payable monthly or per year. The first 30
