We’re so proud to be partnering with the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB)
as the first-ever Champion of Women’s and Girls’ Cricket.


AS THE PEOPLE-PEOPLE BANK, WE'RE PASSIONATE ABOUT DIVERSITY, INCLUSION, AND
COMMUNITY

We play an active role in the community around every store, with every colleague
getting a paid ‘Day to AMAZE’ each year to volunteer for a local charity. We
honour the Investing in Women Code by supporting female entrepreneurs through
networking and events. Now, we're putting our passion into action to empower
women and girls to reach their full potential in cricket and beyond.


A PARTNERSHIP WITH PURPOSE

At the heart of the partnership is a new Women’s and Girls’ Fund – made up of
equal contributions from the ECB and Metro Bank – which will be used to break
down barriers and create more inclusive opportunities, to attract and keep more
women and girls in the sport.

Sport can provide a confidence boost and social mobility to girls from all
backgrounds. The effects of our partnership with the ECB will stretch way beyond
the cricket pitch, creating a lasting legacy for generations to come.




WIN TICKETS TO THE METRO BANK WOMEN’S ASHES

To celebrate our partnership, we’re giving away 100 tickets (that’s a century in
cricket speak!) to the Metro Bank Women’s Ashes. You could win 4 tickets to the
match of your choice. 

The free prize draw is available to customers aged 18+ who live in the UK and
have a Metro Bank Personal Current Account, Cash Account or Business Current
Account, and we’re giving you one entry each. All you need to do is choose which
match you want to see.
