Mizzou:

Criminals have access to firearms on a whim. I live in Podunk, Deep South. My
kid's a cop. The number of stolen and/or illegal firearms recovered from felons
in this town is absurd. Ghost guns are but one of a dozen ways kids and
criminals can acquire guns.

As you rightly mention, "most will find other ways."

And those ways you mention won't preclude unsavory or violently-minded people
from acquiring firearms. In fact, there is no way to assure that, "Only
responsible, upstanding citizens are allowed to purchase and own firearms."

Criminals, by definition, disdain laws. Thus, the only way to curb gun violence
(and crime in general) is to prosecute criminal behavior. When the son of the
sitting president can get away with falsifying a purchase application for a gun,
there's no way anti-gunners can argue for more gun regulation. When criminals
are booked, given a court date, and released to commit more crime, there's no
way anyone can argue for more gun regulation.

Targeting the tool the criminal uses doesn't stop the crime. To effectuate lower
crime rates, authorities must target criminal behavior and those who engage in
it.

Please explain how this is going to prevent someone who is already breaking the
law, from manufacturing an unserialized firearm. It's already illegal for a
felon to own ot possess a firearm, but they still do.

I’m a certified Health Coach (my training/courses are CCE-accredited by the

Thoughts on refi offer below?

Was offered a 3.625% with $13K points on my triplex. Monthly savings would be
~$750 so breakeven would be 1.5 yrs. Have owned this property for 4 years and am
somewhat hesitant to roll over the $13k points into the balance because it would
set me back on my equity.

Alternatively could pay no points and lower the rate slightly (4.125%), but I
would end up paying more in interest and see less monthly savings ($400/mo).
Current rate is 4.375%

My SO loves me but (and I agree) has always been big about us keeping appearance

Vaccines are mandated for employment in public jobs in Washington State. I just
found out that a colleague paid someone else's doctor for a medical exemption
doctors note. Not their regular doctor. Had to drive out of town to get it.
