Hiring developers has always been a mess. The biggest challenge - filter out the
great ones from the noise. To be honest, it’s like finding a needle in a
haystack. Most of us have been using DS problems to narrow down the funnel. This
helped with 2 thing: qualify intent and filter for problem solving skills. So
far, it did the job. BUT in 2024, all developers will be solving these coding
challenges using AI. Much quicker & they can go to the next rounds. This is

1. DSA Coding Assessment

A 30-minute online coding assessment to check the developer’ skills, eligibility
and if they’re a good fit.



3. Interview round

The interview round will assess the developer’s experience suited for job
opportunities.


2. Take Home Assessment

We further evaluate a developer’s coding skill from a take-home assessment
submitted via Github.



4. Profile made live on Pesto

The developer’s profile gets approved on the platform, based on proof of work.
Their projects, open source repos or articles are all described well in their
profiles.
