disabilities or mental health needs. Providing opportunities to individuals in a
vast array of activities

own pace and involving members in decision making through their social committee

members lives by increasing social skills, sense of wellbeing and personal
achievement.


A FUN-FILLED ALL-INCLUSIVE PROJECT

We offer a tailored all inclusive programme that supports individuals at their
level to improve skills, knowledge and understanding.

Horticulture

Small, large animal & poultry care

Healthy Living

Woodwork

We carry out a number of horticultural activities throughout the year including
 * Health and safety
 * bulb planting
 * seed sowing
 * pricking out
 * planting
 * caring for plants
 * propagation
 * plant identification
 * tool identification

For members who enjoy horticulture and gardening, this will give them a great
opportunity to learn new skills and techniques. We have a number of raised beds
providing easy access and inclusivity for less mobile individuals and members in
wheelchairs
We have a selection of small and large animals that we care for. These include
 * Guinea pigs
 * Rabbits
 * Chicks
 * Goats
 * Donkeys
 * Lambs
 * Alpacas
 * Emus
 * Poultry (hens, ducks, geese, turkeys)

These animals provide members with the opportunity to handle and care for them,
tasks include:
 * Providing them with food and water,
 * Cleaning them out and bedding them down
 * Grooming and handling
 * Carrying out health checks
 * Exercising them eg walking the donkeys

For anyone with an interest in animals this provides the perfect opportunity to
learn new skills and get real hands on experience with then in a safe and
supportive environment
We help and encourage members to make healthier lifestyle choices. The following
activities provide members with alternative choices and the opportunity to learn
skills they can then use in their home
 * Food safety and hygiene
 * Cooking activities
 * Meal choices/planning
 * Food and nutrition
 * Varied of craft activities

We offer a wide range of wood working activities throughout the year. These
include building
 * Bird houses
 * Bat boxes
 * Hedgehog houses
 * Bug hotels
 * Rabbit and guinea pig houses
 * Planters
 * Raised beds

(All of the above recycled wood is used where possible) We encourage members to
be involved with all aspects of the wood working project from deciding what to
build, planning how to build it, then finally the building of it. Our wood
working activities give members hands on experience of working as part of a
team, health and safety and conservation
