DOUBLE YOUR IMPACT AND HELP STUDENTS IN NEED.

When you make a gift in support of Highlander HOUSE on December 3rd, Giving
Tuesday, not only will you double your impact thanks to a generous 1:1 matching
gift from Ken Gayer, BS CHE '85*, you will also provide students with essential
food and clothing. You have the power to fight campus hunger and empower student
professional and personal success.

The Highlander H.O.U.S.E. (Helping Others Use Supportive Essentials) is home to
both the NJIT Food Pantry and new Career Closet. The Highlander H.O.U.S.E.
receives visits from over 2,000 students per school year. The Food Pantry
provides a wide variety of services such as produce, canned items, snacks,
meats, hygiene products, bedding materials, toiletries and beverages. The Career
Closet offers professional clothing for jobs, internships and interviews,
seasonal clothing, personal clothing and different accessories.

Food insecurity exists everywhere. In fact, almost half of college students
experience some type of food insecurity, with more than one in five qualifying
as “hungry” due to low levels of meal stability.

But you can help! This Giving Tuesday, you can make a gift to fight campus
hunger by supporting the Highlander H.O.U.S.E. Your donation of any size will
make a significant difference for talented, hardworking students in need.

*Thanks to a generous gift from Ken Gayer, BS CHE '85, the first $25,000 donated
to the Highlander H.O.U.S.E. will be matched 1:1.
