WIS VIC COMMITTEE ELECTION 2022


IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THE ELECTION

Dear Women in Super member,

Women in Super Victoria is run by a State Committee of up to 15 women,
comprising of representatives from the superannuation industry. The Committee is
responsible for assisting with the organisation of Victorian events for Women in
Super – providing networking and professional development opportunities for
women within the financial services and superannuation sectors.

Due to recent vacancies, we are looking to recruit the following:


 * 2x representatives from profit-to-member superannuation funds
 * 1x representative from service providers

After our recent election nomination period, multiple nominations for the 2022
WIS VIC Committee have been received. As there were more nominations than there
were positions, a ballot will now take place.

Rules of the Ballot:

1. Voting is only available for those who are current, dues-paid, Women in Super
members based in Victoria for the 2021/2022 membership year.

NOTE: The email link you have received is a personalised link to your email
address, which should not be forwarded. Once you have submitted your vote, the
link becomes inactive. All current Women in Super members should have received
their own personalised link to vote. If you believe an eligible voter has not
received the link to vote, please email wis@womeninsuper.com.au and a manual
link will be distributed.

2. Only women employed in the specific sector will be eligible to vote for
candidates nominated for the position in that specific sector, as detailed in
the Women in Super constitution. 

3. Jes Teubert (Women in Super National Marketing, Membership and Events
Coordinator) will act as Returning Officer for the ballot. The ballot will
remain confidential and only the successful nominations will be announced.

any questions regarding which sector you fit into.

4. Results of the ballot will be announced via email to Women in Super members.

5. The three women with the top votes in their respective sector will fill the
positions on the committee.

The ballot closes on Monday 2 May at 5.00pm AEST.
