The new version of the file synchronization software improves high DPI support
and responsiveness of the interface during sync processes. All you have to do is
set a source and target folder, and define the syncing rules. You can add new
jobs with just a few clicks in the interface. If you check out the, somewhat
dated, review you will notice that the interface looks pretty much the same as
it did in 2009. The interface of the program has not changed much since 2009.
You could create a two-way update rule with the help of the functionality and
other advanced rules to sync files. Updating copies new or changed files to the
target folder but won't delete any files already in the target
folder.įreeFileSync supports custom synchronization rules besides that. Any
change to one of the folders is automatically synced to the other folder so that
they have identical content.

Two-way synchronization, on the other hand, keeps two folders in sync. Whenever
files or directories in the source folder change, the changes are synced to the
target folder as well. Mirror synchronization can be used to create exact copies
of source folders in another destination. FreeFileSync 10.0įreeFileSync supports
three synchronization methods: mirror synchronization, two-way syncing or
updating.

The issue is Windows-specific and I used the Linux version instead.

Note: I still had issues downloading the program to a Windows 10 machine. The
installer included advertisement, but that is a thing of the past as the
installer is ad-free now in the latest version. The program is listed in our
Best Windows file synchronization software list as it is quite powerful when it
comes to data synchronization operations on Windows, Linux or Mac OS X

Then there is the issue of the changing face of the industry. The question now
is what the future holds for what is still one of Ubisoft's relatively underused
AAA properties. With no other games on the market or in the pipeline, there
seems to be no room for Legion in the French behemoth's future plans. Ubisoft
thrives on maintaining large, recognizable IPs for as long as they remain
profitable. While Legion promised to build on the success of its predecessor,
most felt that the game was little more than a missed opportunity. Legion was
plagued by bugs and issues from the beginning, not to mention the lukewarm
commercial and critical reception that marked it out as the lowest-rated game in
the trilogy.

Perhaps players shouldn't be overly surprised, though. Legion only launched
in late 2020, meaning that it didn't even make it to a year and a half worth of
updates before Ubisoft pulled the plug to focus its efforts on more successful
properties, most likely the upcoming behemoth Assassin's Creed: Infinity. What
is most striking about new of Legion's discontinued online support is how
