Hi, I’m cowsaregreatanimals and this is my collection of graded Canadian and
world coins (total value is C$5500+)

The majority of my coins are graded by PCGS; the rest are graded by ICCS, NGC,
or CCCS.

I focus primarily on Canadian 1 cent and 5 cent circulating coins.

PCGS France 1643 Double Tournois Charleville VF Details – Environmental Damage

 

The Double Tournois was a French coin that was popular with earlier colonists in
Canada

 

 

 

NGC French Colonies 1670-A 5 sol VG Details

Amongst the first French coins minted for distribution in the French Colonies,
primarily for the French West Indies.

At most a few hundred examples survive today. Scarce.

PCGS Great Britain 1837 1 penny Maundy PL-62

“… as early as the 13th century for members of the royal family to take part in
Maundy ceremonies, to distribute money and gifts, and to recall Christ’s simple
act of humility by washing the feet of the poor… Maundy Money has remained much
the same since 1670, the coins used for the Maundy ceremony traditionally being
struck in sterling silver.” – Royal Mint Museum

This coin (1837 Maundy 1 penny) has a tiny mintage of only 8,712.
