From authentic Italian delights, and a new brewpub, to innovative Korean BBQ and Japanese teppanyaki, our communities are about to savor an eclectic mix of culinary offerings. Among the recent openings, Livello, an Italian bistro helmed by Chef Bruno Silva (formerly of Tavolino), has been making waves with its farm-to-table approach and changing weekly menus. Dyan’s Country Kitchen, a staple for homestyle American diner and deli cuisine, has been revitalized under new ownership. If you’re looking for that perfect cup of joe, 360F Specialty Coffee Roasters on Wiles Road offers more than 15 artisanal single-estate coffees from around the world. Story continues below advertisement Although it was soft opened in late 2022, and it is an expansion of its Coconut Creek location, we’re still counting the Coral Springs branch of Fish Joint as a new 2023 restaurant, with its fast-casual service and excellent seafood (and great non-seafood offerings). Asian cuisine enthusiasts have new haunts in Kubo Asian Fusion & Bar, Fujimura, and Saisaki, bringing us unique takes on sushi, Thai, Filipino, Chinese, and seafood dishes to fit every price point. Detroit’s La Marsa brings a taste of the Middle East to the area with its Egyptian and Levantine specialties, Marco’s Top Burgers has brought us burgers, sandwiches, pizzas, appetizers, and cocktails with a unique Brazilian flair, and Talkin’ Tacos has introduced fast-casual halal Mexican food to the Walk of Coral Springs. Story continues below advertisement In Coconut Creek, Van Horne Bagel and KOA Mart are among the recent additions, offering bagels, deli offerings, and Korean and Asian groceries, respectively. Beiruty Sea & Grill has been serving Lebanese and Mediterranean dishes, the popular Cheesecake Factory continues to draw crowds with its extensive menu, and Hook’s Catch known for its seafood, wings, and casual atmosphere, has opened on State Road 7. New in 2024 in Coral Springs and Coconut Creek Tacocraft, a Mexican concept by restaurateur Marc Falsetto, is set to broaden its horizons from its Fort Lauderdale, Plantation, and South Miami locations to a new spot at the Cornerstone on University Drive. This expansion introduces a menu filled with inventive tacos and cocktails, offering a modern reinterpretation of classic Mexican dishes in a sophisticated yet relaxed atmosphere complete with DJs and an extensive selection of more than 200 tequilas. The opening is slated for May or June 2024. Story continues below advertisement Rule G Brewing Company, a unique, railroad-themed gastropub, is scheduled to open in Coconut Creek in 2024. The establishment promises a diverse menu of house-made brews and food set within a historically inspired ambiance. Divieto Ristorante is set to occupy the former Applebee’s location on University Drive, promising an array of Italian American classics. With a successful footprint in Doral, Estero, and Aventura, Divieto's South Florida expansion to Coral Springs is much anticipated. Saiko-I Sushi and Hibachi from Boca Raton is transforming the old KOTO Hibachi spot into a destination for sushi and hibachi enthusiasts with enticing happy hour offerings. Uncle Louie G’s is expected to introduce its popular Italian Ices from New York and New Jersey to Coral Springs, offering a refreshing treat for the Florida heat. Bobayo will open its doors at 5851 Wiles Rd and entice patrons with its unique bubble tea offerings. Whit’s Frozen Custard plans to delight residents with its creamy frozen dairy treats at the Walk of Coral Springs. Almacen De Carnes is set to offer Argentinian Beef in this upcoming butcher shop on West Sample. K-Pot is planning to open on Wiles Road, introducing an all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ concept, offering a variety of meats and traditional sides. Kimchi Mart is slated to revamp a former liquor store on University Drive into a comprehensive Korean market, catering to the growing demand for authentic Korean groceries and goods. Graze Craze opened on Sample Road, bringing its nationally recognized charcuterie boards to the local community. Farm to Fork Meals will provide healthy, convenient meal plans and kits at the Walk of Coral Springs, aligning with the growing trend of health-conscious dining. As Coral Springs and Coconut Creek brace for these new culinary ventures, residents and visitors can anticipate a year filled with diverse flavors and innovative dining concepts.
