Over 160 years ago, Victoire Larmenier ignited a global legacy of service by
founding the first Nazareth House in Hammersmith, UK. Bringing this legacy to
Africa in 1882, the inaugural Nazareth House in Cape Town marked a significant
chapter in our journey.

Today, Nazareth Care remains steadfast in honoring Larmenier’s mission. Adapting
to modern needs, we offer a range of accommodation choices, from independent and
assisted living to frail care. Our commitment extends beyond our walls, with
charitable outreach across South Africa and Zimbabwe.
