Scroll is an EVM-equivalent ZK-rollup started in early 2021 as part of the
vibrant Ethereum ecosystem. Scroll uses zkEVM as its core component to prove the
native EVM execution trace and leverages a decentralized proving network to
solve the efficiency problem on the prover side.

Scroll has raised a total of $80M in funding from some of the biggest VCs, like
Polychain and Sequoia. Recently, Binance has also announced Scroll (SCR) on
Binance Launchpool and Pre-Market. This means that the SCR token will soon hit
the market.

Scroll has now announced their first airdrop. They are airdropping 7% of their
total SCR supply for this airdrop round. Participants can now visit the airdrop
claim page to claim their airdrop.

They’ve now launched season two of their points campaign called Scroll Sessions,
where users can earn points in the form of “Marks” for interacting with the
platform. Users who collect marks may become eligible for their airdrop.

With the second session, they are completely revamping the Marks system to make
it easier for users to earn rewards. What’s different is that contributions like
providing DeFi liquidity and participating in key protocols.

Scroll is also planning to launch a new dashboard to track the progress. They
have also introduced a program called Scroll Open. This new program rewards top
projects with SCR token grants on the basis of key metrics like TVL, active
wallets and transactions.

Step-by-Step Guide:

SCROLL AIRDROP CLAIM

 1. Scroll has announced their first airdrop, allocating 7% of the total SCR
    supply.

 2. The snapshot for the airdrop was taken on October 19, 2024, at 00:00 UTC.

 3. Visit the Scroll airdrop claim page.

 4. Connect your wallet and claim your SCR tokens.

 5. The claim period will be open for 90 days.

 6. A total of 570,000+ wallets are eligible for Scroll’s first airdrop.

 7. Particularly, 55,000,000 SCR or 5.5% of the supply is allocated for active
contributors who participated through their on-chain activities via their
    Sessions program.

 8. 4% of the SCR supply is allocated for users with over 200 or more Marks.

 9. For more information about the airdrop, visit this official announcement.

TASK 1: MAINNET

 1. Visit the Scroll mainnet page, then add the Scroll network to Metamask.

 2. You can buy some ETH on Binance. If you don’t have any crypto funds, you
can also directly deposit fiat to Binance and purchase ETH.

 3. Visit Rhino.fi, connect your ETH wallet and sign two messages (no gas
fees). Scroll recommends Rhino.fi bridge on their website’s bridge list.

 4. Bridge ETH, wstETH, USDT, or USDC from the Ethereum mainnet to the Scroll
mainnet to start earning marks as part of Scroll’s points program.

 5. Also, bridge weETH via Stargate to the Scroll network to earn EtherFi
     points and Scroll Marks.

 6. Use Scroll’s native bridge or any third party bridge to earn marks.

 7. To bridge from mainnet to Scroll in a more cost effective way, mint the
Scroller NFT. Deposit some ETH on mainnet into the Scroller NFT and it will
automatically bridge that balance into your main wallet on Scroll when
     mainnet gas prices are optimal.

 8. Mint the Scroll Canvas and collect badges.

 9. Provide liquidity to DeFi protocols such as Ambient and NURI to earn marks.

 10. Deposit eligible assets into selected lending markets such as Aave and Rho
     Markets to earn more marks.

 11. ‘Looping’ is a strategy enabled by leveraged borrowing where a user
deposits ETH to use this asset as collateral, borrows USDC against ETH and
purchase more ETH to deposit again and borrow more. Lore enables one-click
looping on Scroll with up to 5x leverage, which boosts the amount of marks
earned versus supplying the same amount of assets on money markets without
     any ‘looping’.

 12. Users can earn even more marks in the future by participating in various
     activities through Scroll Sessions.

 13. Marks were also awarded retroactively to users with more than $5 total gas
spent on Scroll from the mainnet launch on October 10th, 2023 to April
     29th, 2024 12pm UTC.

 14. Scroll also announced that marks can also be earned by bridging Kelp DAO‘s
     wrsETH and Tranchess assets.

 15. Try out the dApps that are already live on Scroll mainnet, like Scroll Name
Service; you could thereby also become eligible for their own potential
airdrops. You can check out all the dApps that are live on the Scroll
     ecosystem from here.

 16. Additionally, you can also bridge from Scroll to zkSync, Base, Polygon
zkEVM, Manta, Linea or Optimism, which might make you eligible for other
     multiple potential drops.

 17. Users who interact with Scroll and collect “Marks” will likely get an
airdrop if they launch their own token.

 18. Also, mint the Scroller NFT. It is an NFT that comes with its smart
contract wallet. When you send ETH from Mainnet to your Scroller NFT’s
wallet, it will bridge to Scroll L2 at the most gas optimal time using a
custom AI prediction model. For more info, see this article.

 19. Mint other Scroll native NFT collections, such as Varonve.

 20. For more information regarding the marks campaign, see this page.

TASK 2: TESTNET

 1. Visit the Scroll testnet page.

 2. Now add Layer 1 testnet and Layer 2 testnet to Metamask.

 3. Visit the Sepolia faucet and get testnet tokens.

 4. Now visit the bridge section and send tokens from the Ethereum Sepolia to
    Scroll Sepolia and vice versa.

 5. Also, try out the Scroll testnet on SyncSwap; thereby, you could also become
eligible for the SyncSwap speculative airdrop.

 6. Early users who’ve done testnet actions may get an airdrop if they plan to
    launch one.

Don’t forget to verify yourself with Gitcoin Passport, which is a way to ensure
proof of humanity and prevent bot activity. It distinguishes real wallets from
Sybil wallets, adding an extra layer of security. Creating a Gitcoin Passport
and collecting stamps can help mark your wallet as “safe,” increasing your
chances of being considered for airdrops by projects.
