OUR HISTORY  


For over 26 years Superb Custom Tailors has provided superior sewing and
alteration services in the Seattle area and we would love to add you to our long
list of satisfied customers. We specialize in women's custom clothing, women and
men's alterations, bridal and ball gowns, leather and suede garments and general
sewing services (such as curtains or cushion covers). For our custom shirts, we
stock fabric from England and Italy, with over 800 fabrics to choose from, and
pride ourselves on always going the distance to fulfill your sewing and
alteration needs.

Misook graduated Duksong Women's University in Seoul, Korea with a BA degree in
home economics and dress design. She also attended post college at International
tailoring school in Seoul, Korea. After graduating from college, she worked as a
window display designer, beauty consultant and a make up artist at AMORE
cosmetic company in Seoul, Korea. She worked as a women's clothing designer
before moving to the U.S. in 1986. She had her first business in downtown
Seattle from 1988 to 1995. Her business profile was featured in the Seattle
Times in 1990. She started Superb Custom Tailors in 2000 on upper Queen Anne
Ave. and moved to 323 W Galer St. (current location) in 2007.

CUSTOM MENS/WOMENS SUITS




ORDER PROCESS

1)  Initiate the process by booking your appointment. During your visit to our
shop, you'll peruse through our exquisite selection of fabrics, customize style
details, and undergo precise measurements, typically taking around 2 hours.  

2) Your preferences are meticulously forwarded to our trusted partner factory.
Once the fabric is dispatched from the mill, the crafting process commences.
Expect your bespoke items to grace our shop within 4 to 6 weeks from the date of
order placement.

3) Upon the arrival of your meticulously crafted garments, we'll promptly notify
you for a fitting session. Your garments will be tried on, and any necessary
adjustments will be noted, with fittings typically lasting between 30 to 40
minutes.

4) Our skilled tailors diligently carry out the alterations and add the final
touches to your garments. It will be approximately 1 to 2 weeks for the suits
final adjustments.

5) At your final fitting, you'll try on your garments once more. Should
everything align flawlessly, you'll leave with your impeccably tailored attire.
In case further adjustments are needed, rest assured, our team will ensure a
precise fit before your departure.
