MEET MICK SAGER

MICK IS THE OWNER OF CENTRAL HUNTER SPORTS MEDICINE, A TRANSITIONAL NURSE
PRACTITIONER WHO HAS ACCUMULATED OVER 20 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN TRAUMA EMERGENCY
NURSING.

His qualifications include Master of Nurse Practitioner, Bachelor of Nursing,
Grad Cert in Advanced Practice (Emergency), double Grad Dip in Health and
Project Management, Major Incident Medical Management and Support (MIMMS)
Advanced Commander, level 1 Sports Trainer, NeckSafe and HeadSafe, Level 1
Strength and Conditioning Coach.

Over the past 18 years Mick has worked with many sporting organisations at both
club and elite level. Organisations such as The Waratahs Rugby Club, Southern
Beaches Rugby Club, Maitland Rugby Club, Newcastle Hunter Rugby Union, The
Newcastle Knights, NSW Country Rugby Union, Maitland Saints AFC, Kurri, Cessnock
and Maitland Netball Associations, Cardiff Junior Australian Football Club, NSW
Rugby Union, University of New England Women’s Rugby 7s program, Maitland Touch
Football Association, H Events, the Western Force Super Rugby Franchise and this
year he signed on as sponsor and Strength & Conditioning Coach for the
University of Newcastle Women’s Rugby 7s program for the Rugby AU, AON, Uni 7s
series.

WHAT AREAS DO YOU PROVIDE TRAINING & MEDICAL SUPPORT TO?

All over the Newcastle, Hunter and Lake Macquarie areas. Central Coast, Upper
Hunter and New England areas also wouldn’t be out of the question.

WHAT TEAMS DOES CENTRAL HUNTER SPORTS MEDICINE WORK WITH?

Sporting organisations of all disciplines. We have even provided event medical
support for food and wine festivals.

WHERE IS CENTRAL HUNTER SPORTS MEDICINE LOCATED?

The Clinic and gym are located in Gillieston Heights, however I will travel
within a reasonable distance for strength and fitness work at your location

DO YOU OFFER A VARIETY OF MEDICINE & SUPPLEMENTS?

We don’t offer medicines but are a distributor and supply the entire range of
Body Science products at competitive prices.

HOW LONG WILL YOU ATTEND A MATCH?

We can be at your sporting event for as long or as little as required. We have
looked after the Maitland Touch Football Association and me and my crew spent 3
days away with them for the NSW State Cup.
