NYC SITE SAFETY TRAINING CARD (NYC SST CARD)
SST ONLINE VERIFICATION SYSTEM FOR SST CARD

STAY IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE NEW RULES REGARDING NYC SST CARD.
Local Law 196 requires all construction and demolition workers working within
the five boroughs to receive a minimum of 40 hours of SST training while
supervisors will be required to receive a minimum of 62 hours of SST training.
The training received must be courses which have been selected by the NYC
Department of Buildings and must also be received from an authorized SST

HOW DO I GET A SST CARD?

2. Upload any current Site Safety Training certifications, you already have.
3. Find out which SST Card you may already qualify for.
4. If you already qualify for the SST Card you have chosen, you may order that
SST Card.

SST COURSE EQUIVALENCY
The New York City Department of Buildings is now allowing DOB approved courses
that are not part of the Site Safety Training Curricula to be used towards
obtaining an SST Card. Course equivalents allow workers and supervisors who have
taken DOB approved training courses in the past to use those training hours as
Site Safety Training credits as long as they are listed on the DOB course
equivalents table. For example, if an individual has completed their 40 hour
Site Safety Manager course in the past they would be allowed to count those
hours towards both the 8 hour chapter 33 SST training course, two general
electives and two specialized electives.
