At last!! The GOAT is back to show us how good he was even back in 1976. It’s
always great to see new footage of Luther performing and even more special to
see a performance of him with his early ‘Luther’ project. I don’t ever remember
seeing the group Luther perform together so this is pretty special for me but
you can definitely see he is already a star in the making. Luther is only 26 in
this footage but even at this age he was already writing beautiful songs such as
‘The 2nd time around’ that he would later re-record 12 years later for his ‘Any
love’ album David Bowie saw something special in luther when he worked and
toured with him, David encouraged Luther to perform as a support act before he
went on stage even though Luther wasn’t sure. Luther Vandross and David
Bowie…music legends!!
