The Cape Fear Council of Governments (CFCOG) is a regional organization serving
local governments across Brunswick, Columbus, New Hanover, and Pender counties.
As one of North Carolina’s 16 regional councils, CFCOG provides resources,
technical assistance, and support to over 40 municipalities, fostering regional
collaboration and strategic solutions that improve the quality of life for
nearly half a million residents.

The CFCOG brings together local elected and appointed officials to address
shared challenges and pursue opportunities for growth. Through a variety of
programs, grants, and planning services, we help communities strengthen
governance, promote economic development, and enhance public services across
southeastern North Carolina.
