A SINGLE DOOR CONTROLLER

In addition to protecting entryways with video intercom and video security
functionality, the TD52 is also a single door controller. The device’s RS-485
ports accept any Verkada reader and give you access control functionality
without requiring additional cabling or hardware.

   HOW CAN I UNLOCK DOORS WITH THE TD52?
   
   
   Verkada intercom supports web unlock capabilities for doors that are secured
   by Verkada access control. For doors that are not secured by Verkada,
   organizations can connect their locking mechanism to the TD52’s output relay.

   DOES THE TD52 HAVE A CARD READER?
   
   
   The TD52 does not have a card reader. Organizations can install a Verkada
   AD33 door reader and one of Verkada’s door controllers for keycard /
   bluetooth unlock functionality.

   DOES THE TD52 RECORD EVENTS IN VERKADA COMMAND?
   
   
   The TD52 Video Intercom records every button press and intercom call and can
   also record continuous video for up to 30 days.

   HOW DO YOU INSTALL THE TD52 VIDEO INTERCOM?
   
   
   The TD52 Video Intercom is simple to install and can be online in minutes. No
   additional phone line integrations, NVRs or DVRs are needed to connect your
   Verkada intercom system. The Verkada TD52 is a single PoE device that
   includes powerful two-way audio, video intercom and video security
   capabilities. The TD52 also has inputs and outputs to interface with existing
   door hardware or third-party access controllers. More information on how to

   The TD52 comes ready for recessed mounting out of the box. A surface mount
   and angle mount are sold separately.

   The TD52 Video Intercom has a powerful 5W speaker that projects up to 90
   decibels at 1 meter and a beam-forming microphone array to provide up to 3
   meters of clear audio pickup, with advanced algorithms to ensure clear audio
   even in windy or noisy environments.

   The TD52 Video Intercom has a 5-megapixel sensor for full HD 1080p video and

   Yes, TD52 Video Intercom is built to be robust and durable and is IP66 and
   IK08 rated, meaning the device can withstand a large range of outdoor
   environments and is vandal resistant.

   CAN INTERCOM CALLS BE RECEIVED OVER THE INTERNET?
   
   
   Verkada Intercom calls can be received through any web browser via Verkada
   Command, Verkada’s single pane of glass solution to manage and monitor an
   organization’s physical security. Verkada Command offers convenient
   cloud-based controls for secure and simple call receiving, as well as door
   unlock and other Verkada actions. Receiving from Command will be available
   starting in March 2023.

   WHAT IS DOOR SUPPORT FOR THE TD52 VIDEO INTERCOM?
   
   
   The TD52 functions as a single door controller that allows organizations to
   connect any Verkada door readers to the TD52 video intercom through the four
   RS-485 ports on the back of the device. This capability eliminates extra
   hardware and cabling, reduces installation complexity, and allows
