Canada Health Infoway is committed to contributing to digital health research in
Canada. To support health care organizations, clinicians, policy makers, and
patients, families and caregivers, Infoway conducts research into the value of
digital health solutions as well as clinicians' and Canadians' attitudes and

   2022 CANADIAN DIGITAL HEALTH SURVEY
   
   Canada Health Infoway has been tracking specific aspects of digital health
   awareness, utilization and perceptions among Canadians annually since 2010 to
   better understand the national, provincial and territorial digital health
   landscape.

   NATIONAL SURVEY OF CANADIAN COMMUNITY PHARMACISTS
   
   Canada Health Infoway and the Canadian Pharmacists Association (CPhA)
   collaborated jointly and commissioned the 2022 National Survey of Canadian
   Community Pharmacists: Use of Digital Health in Practice through an external
   third-party research firm, Environics Research. This national survey of
   Canadian pharmacists explored pharmacists’ use of digital health technologies
   and electronic prescribing in practice.

   WHAT CANADIANS THINK 2022 — PRIVACY EDITION SURVEY: CANADIANS’ PERSPECTIVES
   ON DIGITAL HEALTH PRIVACY
   
   Infoway has been tracking attitudes, expectations and experiences in digital
   health privacy in Canada every 5 years since 2007.  This study aims to update
   this public opinion research by further exploring Canadians’ attitudes,
   utilization, perceptions and expectations around digital health privacy.

   UPTAKE OF VIRTUAL CARE: CANADIANS’ HEALTH CARE EXPERIENCES DURING COVID-19
   
   The COVID-19 tracking is a periodic data collection aimed at generating
   insights about Canadians’ health care experiences during the pandemic,
   including their interaction with the health system, their uptake of virtual
   care, the types of health provider visited, their satisfaction with virtual
   care and the barriers to accessing care.

VIRTUAL CARE BENEFITS CALCULATOR

Calculate Benefits

The Virtual Care Benefits Calculator has been designed to help Canadians better
understand the potential avoided carbon emissions and costs (to patients and
caregivers) associated with choosing a virtual visit over an in-person one. It
was developed in collaboration with CASCADES and the Sustainable Health System
Community of Practice (CoP).
