† Get up to $1,200 in value is a combination of:

i) 12 monthly account fees rebated for a value up to $203.40 ($16.95 per month)
for unlimited transactions using a CIBC Smart™ Account for Newcomers; ii) $99
one-time annual fee rebate in annual fees for the CIBC Dividend Platinum® Visa*
Card, for the primary cardholder (includes one-time annual fee rebates for 3
additional authorized users); iii) $288 annual cash back value assumes grocery
and gas purchases of $800 per month; iv) $60 in value based on the purchase of a
safety deposit box; v) $290 annual value assumes 12 money transfer transactions
(based on $20 per transfer at money transfer service provider), includes $50 for
your first CIBC Global Money Transfer™; vi) $300 in value when opening and using
a CIBC Smart™ Account for Newcomers, accounts must be opened on or after
February 5, 2021, at 12:01 am ET with qualifying criteria completed within two
(2) months of opening the account.
