On April 13, 2023, Copper Mountain Mining and Hudbay Minerals announced that the
companies have entered into a definitive agreement whereby Hudbay Minerals will
acquire all of the issued and outstanding common shares of Copper Mountain
Mining. For further details, please see our joint announcement.


POWERING A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE

The Copper Mountain Mine, the Company’s flagship asset, is located in southern
British Columbia, and produces approximately 100 million pounds of copper
equivalent per year. With a future mill expansion and the integration of New
Ingerbelle, the Copper Mountain Mine is expected to produce 138 million pounds
of copper equivalent per year at an all-in cost of US$1.76 per pound over the
first 20 years of its 32 year mine life (based on reserves).
