RISING TO THE SYMBOLIC

We embrace the responsibility of creating buildings whose symbolism captures and
expresses a deeper purpose.

SAFDIE ARCHITECTS

SHAPING THE PUBLIC REALM

We create meaningful and vital public spaces that serve as catalysts for a
vibrant public life in cities around the world.

RESPONDING TO THE ESSENCE OF PLACE

Our buildings are rooted in the geographic and cultural vitality of their
context.

FITNESS TO PURPOSE

Every element in each of our designs expresses and advances the building’s
purpose.

WORKING WITH NATURE AND RESOURCES

We design buildings that are sensitive to the climate, geography, and culture of
their settings.

INHERENTLY BUILDABLE

We find elegant solutions that are simultaneously visually intriguing and
inherently rational.

HUMANIZING THE MEGASCALE

We have pioneered a new urban vision to enhance the quality of life for the
rapidly densifying 21st century world.

CREATING COMMUNITIES

Our buildings create communities, fostering engagement and connection not
previously achievable in dense urban centers.

RISING TO THE SYMBOLIC

We embrace the responsibility of creating buildings whose symbolism captures and
expresses a deeper purpose.
