TO PROMOTE THE ENJOYMENT OF METAL DETECTING TO FIND HISTORICAL EVIDENCE & TO
PROVIDE SOME EXTRA INCOME FOR LANDOWNERS .



We are members of the National Council for Metal Detecting and abide by their
Codes of Practice and also by the Countryside Code. Fully insured and using the
most up-to-date equipment available.

We also have up to two CAA Licensed Drone Pilots in our team and can provide
Landowners with high resolution aerial photographs and footage showing crop
marks in suitable conditions.


HISTORY ON YOUR LAND

If you would like to find out more about your land, perhaps use our Contact Form
to send us an email message and then we can offer advice. We don’t expect any
payment, just permission to detect on your land following your guidelines.

In fact . . we pay you a fee depending on the acreage of land available & the
number of detectorists that you allow.

DORSET AND PARTS OF SOMERSET. WE ARE ALWAYS LOOKING FOR LANDOWNERS WHO NEED HELP
TO BRING THEIR HISTORY TO LIFE.

OUR HISTORICAL HERITAGE

We are so lucky to have a rich and varied past history. Archaeology is an
amazing subject and metal detecting certainly has a place to advance our
knowledge.


RESEARCH & PLANNING

There’s an enormous amount of reference material out there. The internet is a
fabulous place to start, but libraries and museums have collections.


RESOURCES

We’re spoilt for choice. Old Maps, Aerial Photography libraries, Drone footage,
the latest LiDar digital laser imaging, online data sets and other tools.
