MEET OUR FOUNDER

James Lee is the founder of Lee CPA Audit Group. James is a graduate of
University of California at Santa Barbara and has earned a B.A. in Business
Economics and Accounting. Prior to starting his own firm, James has spent twelve
years in public accountancy working for KPMG and several other prominent
regional and local CPA firms where he gained broad experience in all facets of
auditing and accounting.

James has overseen hundreds of employee benefit plan audits. These plans include
401(k), 403(b), profit sharing, ESOP, money purchase, defined benefit pension
and health & welfare plans.

ABIGAIL MELGAREJO

EBP Audit Specialist

Abigail is an EBP Audit Specialist who holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in
Accountancy from California State University, Sacramento. In her free time,
Abigail enjoys taking small road trips along the California coast, spending time
with family, and going on long walks with her dog.




DANIEL SIMONICK

EBP Audit Specialist

Daniel was a member of the 2020 graduating class of the University of
California, Berkeley. He demonstrates a keen eye for critical-thinking and
problem-solving that perfectly suit his role as an EBP Auditor. Outside of work,
he is passionate about participating in outdoor activities and utilizing his
free time to relax in the sunshine.




PRITI NADAR

Project Coordinator

Priti Nadar has completed her Bachelors in Commerce from Mumbai University. She
also holds a Masters in Business Administration from Mumbai University. She has
worked in the fields of telecom and strategic electronics as account manager and
project manager and has over 8+ years of work experience. She is an avid reader
and has done her yoga teacher's training course. She loves nature and likes to
start her day with meditation. She is friendly and outgoing person who loves to
hangout with her family and Labrador pup.




LINDSEY AHN

Principal

Lindsey Ahn is a Principal for Lee CPA Audit Group. Lindsey is a graduate of
University of California at Davis. She also oversees the audits of several
defined contribution employee benefit plans. Lindsey loves to travel. She enjoys
meeting new people and indulging on local flavors.




ROCEL JAMIESON

Project and Office Manager

Rocel Jamieson is a Project and Office Manager with our firm. Rocel graduated
from Simon Fraser University, Vancouver Canada with a Bachelors of Business
Administration. She has held several management roles throughout her career
including Office Manager for a startup high tech company, Account Executive for
a secure records management company, Volunteer Newsletter Editor for various
non-profit organizations, and Sole Proprietor managing kitchen remodeling
projects. Rocel’s most important projects to manage are family vacations where
her love for travel blends with her project management skills in coordinating
and creating these new experiences for her family. Her social calendar is full
with participating in her kids’ activities, enjoying her fitness routines, and
exploring fun times with family and friends.

ALICE LIU

Project Coordinator

Alice Liu is a Sacramento State graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Social
Work. She has a strong passion on assisting her colleagues and learning new
software/ technology that can be used to benefit the firm's audit workflow. She
loves to eat and experiment with food. You will easily find Alice on Yelp as she
searches for mouthwatering restaurants or fantastic cooking recipes.




HYERI KIM

Senior EBP Audit Specialist

Hyeri is an Senior EBP Audit Specialist who assists with various audit
engagements. Professionally,
Hyeri enjoys the challenge of identifying and solving problems and listening to
the needs of business people. Hyeri is gregarious, and people are drawn to her
happy personality. People who interact with Hyeri realize quickly that she is a
good listener with a sense of humor that is infectious.




GINA LOVE

Project and Relations Coordinator

Gina Love is a Project and Relations Coordinator who assists in organizing the
ever-changing parts of an audit into an easily accessible configurations so the
auditors can focus strictly on the accuracy of the numbers. Gina prides herself
in mastering the subtleties of a supporting role. She believes that simple
things like optimism and genuine communication are crucial ingredients to not
only internal collaboration, but also client connection. She can often be found
at home lounging in fuzzy socks, watching philosophical documentaries, Sundance
films or vine compilations while gorging herself on obscenely large bowls of
kale salads.




EDGAR BENITEZ

Senior EBP Audit Specialist

Edgar is a Sacramento State graduate who obtained a Bachelors degree in
Accounting. He started his career in public accounting working for national
firms. He also brings to LCAG his work experience with privately-held entities
and non-profit organizations. He enjoys working with numbers and the extensive
learning with being involved in the accounting industry. Continuous learning is
important to Edgar because knowledge allows him to be better suited to help his
clients. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family and friends,
fishing, and visiting new places.

Erin Zhai is an EBP Audit Specialist at LCAG. She graduated with a Bachelor’s in
Economics and Accounting from University of California, Santa Barbara. She is
studying for the CPA exams and is pursuing her CPA license. In her free time,
she enjoys spending time doing outdoor activities with families and friends.

Christian is an EBP Audit Specialist who holds a BA Degree from UC Berkeley and
possesses highly refined analytical and research skills. He has a strong

MINIMAL INTERRUPTION

Don’t pay for a CPA team to come to you, when you can have most of your plan
audit be performed off-site in our office. We don’t believe in sending the
entire audit team to your office. You will only meet with the audit partner to
discuss what matters most. Furthermore, this allows for very little
interruptions with you and your staff.


FLAT FEES

We quote flat fees for our audits. We will assess the job before we start and
come up with a price you can rely on. Additionally, we don’t tack on any
additional fees for expenses. It is all included in the price.


NO "TAX SEASON"

We only work with 401(k) plans so we don’t have a typical “Tax Season.” Other
firms that just have a “benefit plan group” are often inaccessible during their
“busy season.” We are available all year round to service our clients.


SPECIALIZATION

Browse through websites of other accounting firms. If you see a long list of
services with Employee Benefit Plan Services being just one of many, you are not
looking at a firm that specializes in Benefit Plans. In fact, there are very few
firms that do. We don’t accept work unless we are able to do the job correctly
