   A Series of paintings. Circular orbits appear in the wet paint, highlighting
   a path through a celestial space. The course of movements portrays a person
   that stands out as if it had been scanned by an interstellar probe revolving
   around a cosmic entity. Instead of brushstrokes adding paint, the image
   emerges from the fingers now removing the paint, as if the canvas had been a
   foggy mirror. A portrait materializes consisting of one unrestrained drawn
   lines representing both longitudes and latitudes simultaneously.

 * OMICRON DRAWINGS

   A series of 100 pencil on paper drawings from 2015 measuring 30 x 24 cm.
   It took me about a year to finish the 100 “Omicron” drawings. They were made
   when I had just become a father, so a large portion of the the drawings were
   made during my daughters nap-times. Astronomers use the name Omicron to
   pinpoint a stars location in a constellation, and I chose the title because
   it makes me thinks of space. I remember having this screensaver called SETI
   many years ago, it showed data from space being analyzed and depicted as
   graphs and chart on the computer screen. The way the drawings are build
   reminds me of these charts, and it makes me wonder what actually goes on when
   they emerge on the paper in front of me as if by themselves. The images that
   come out this technique also resemble the iconic album cover for Unknown
   Pleasures by Joy Division, it's an image of stacked radio waves from a
   distant pulsar, but was actually first thought to be a signal from some kind
   of extraterrestrial entity. On a more personal note, an alternate name for
   the star Omicron Ceti in the constellation Cetus is Mira, which is my
   daughters name.

 * SCROLL DRAWINGS

   A series of pencil on paper drawings made during a road trip across the
   United States in 2013. The Scroll Drawings consist of one large drawing
   measuring 152 x 338 cm made on various location across the USA and six
   smaller drawings measuring 100 x 40 cm done from the passenger seat.

   The method used in creating the drawings derived from the need to create a
   system that could overcome the problem of doing large scale work without the
   flat surface which was actually needed. Therefore the particular procedure of
   drawing on a tube was invented. Scrolling and scanning the curved or partial
   surface working through the paper like a printer, one line at a time. Every
   line with it's own characteristic, but still corresponding and relating to
   the previous line. Eventually every bump in the road and every tiny crack in
   the floor affects the drawing and it becomes a topographical map of the
   journey itself.

 * FOUR LARGE DRAWINGS

   Four drawings exhibited in 2011 at ARoS Aarhus Art Museum during the
   exhibition "Snapshots from Slumberland - 3 x Krull".

   Two of the drawings measure 240 x 400 cm, they were done in my studio in
   Copenhagen. The two larger drawings measure 3,55 x 7,5 meters. The drawing
   "Marathon" was done as a 10 hour marathon performance at Kunsthal
   Charlottenborg during the all day event "Palace Party". The drawing
   "Slitscanner" was later acquired by ARoS for their private collection.

 * FLOOR DRAWINGS

   A series of drawings/paintings from 2006 made on sheets of paper, which due
   to their size made the work take place on the floor.

   Common to all the drawings in the "Floor" series, are the use of the
   compositional technique of drawing with two hands simultaneously. The
   ambidextrous approach achieves a sense of unity within the artwork, which is
   similar to the symmetrical composition found in rorschach tests and the
   mandala.
