Established in 1976 by Paul Mulkerns as ‘Mulkerns Spar’ and known locally as
‘Paul’s’, this was one of the first stores to offer much needed convenience and
choice to the local community.

Paul’s values of quality & freshness, and his friendly community ethos have
shaped the business into what it is today, with quality, freshness and community
still being the central focus of what we do.

Mulkerns EUROSPAR is a multi award-winning supermarket in its class. In 2020 the
supermarket scooped an amazing 12 prestigious Awards from the Retail Industry
Awards, Forecourt Trader Awards, Independent Retail Awards, and Maxol Excellence
Awards.

Most recently Mulkerns have taken the Crown in London at the 2021 Convenience
Awards and the 2021 Retail Industry Awards, with a whopping 6 UK Industry Awards
in total so far. The icing on the cake being taking home Store Team of the Year!
