For 2k followers, I am releasing a special version of my "Rose's Guide to
Yanderes.” Despite writing the guide myself, I haven’t once participated in the
scenarios inside of them. I think it’s high time I show you what I think these
yanderes mean, hm? --- I wanted to thank you all for the flood of support I
received on my frustration post. I needed to vent my grievances, but seeing so
many people wanting me to stay made me happy. I’ll keep going for as long as I
can. :) — Yanderes are defined by a few classic traits: - Obsession: One of the
only things on their mind is to gain the affection of their beloved. - Fixation:
No one else can fill the void that a yandere's beloved has left in their heart.
- Denial: A rejection from a beloved is not a rejection; it is merely an
indicator that the yandere needs to try harder. - Aggression: A yandere will go
out of the way to make sure that their beloved only sees them as an option.
Whether this is through classic physical aggression or verbal/psychological
aggression like gaslighting largely depends on the kind of yandere. - Stalking:
To an extent, all yandere will attempt to locate and follow their beloved
whenever they can. Only certain types of yanderes exhibit very little of this
behavior. - Isolation: A key factor to many types of yanderes is their desire to
take away their beloved from anyone else. This is mainly to prevent the beloved
from escaping, or even from hearing how bad the yandere is for them. -
Infatuation: The level of affection a yandere has for their beloved is usually
never in question, but I instead like to think of it like this: does the yandere
see their beloved as a person, or as an object? If it's the latter, the yandere
