WHO ARE WE?

WE ARE HOLSTON TRADING POST

Holston Trading Post was founded by two childhood friends, Adam and Marty.
The two friends were raised in the Bristol Tennessee/Virginia area. Though times
have changed since the era of the first country radio broadcast and moonshine
running, the area still values it's Appalachian heritage.

Marty, the older of the two, spent many years working two jobs, sometimes
three, trying to make ends meet.

He has been a landscaper, a butcher, a manager, sales associate, textile
operator, and even a youth pasture for his church. He now holds the title of
husband and father.

Adam spent his younger years working with his father in construction and
carpentry, worked odd jobs such as mowing yards and moving household items. Once
Adam reached legal age, he worked fast-food and continued to work side jobs. He
joined the Marine Corps and since leaving, is now a Safety Professional for the
construction industry.

As children, Adam and Marty would craft their own toys, such as swords,
shields, and forts. Having power tools before power wheels. This soon turned
into a passion and was carried through to adulthood.

Holston Trading Post is named after the area, where before the great nation
was a country it was the wild frontier called the Holston settlement. Everything
around from South Holston Lake, and Holston river, to Holston Mountain and
Holston Valley, is named after that beginning, heck even Marty's son is named
Holston *Can you see the pride now?* It's name signifies family value, humble
heritage, and adventure. The company's logo signifies that same wonder and
adventure of their local area. Truly a God blessed area to be in. We hope to
share it with youn's soon.
