(-)Scott Anderson is, I would say, he's visionary,
he's humble, he's generous.
I just think he's the perfect leader.

(-)He's so focused on helping the people he leads,
and I think that's at the heart of
all the amazing things that he's accomplished.

(-)He underscores the fact that relationships
are the key to everything we do,
and that's a really important part of our culture,
is how you really create value for us,
and for customers and for the community,
and for everybody around us,
is through the connections you make,
and Scott is just superb at that.

(-)Scott brings a lot to this organization
is that there's a caring element that you actually feel,
and it passes through all of the management tiers.

(-)Scott took Zions Bank,
he was one of the beginning people in Zions Bank,
he took it from being a mom and pop stop,
to really being a regional force in the banking community.

(-)Scott has a really great ability, a great talent,
for being able to develop personal relationships
that aren't transactional.
And so, when a transaction,
or a policy advocacy effort has to begin,
it's already built on a foundation
of that personal relationship.

(-)He's very committed to being engaged.
And, in fact, he's so engaged,
he goes to so many events representing Zions Bank
that we've accused him of being cloned.
Whether it's clone one,
or clone two, he's everywhere.
And I think most people across the state
know of Zions Bank because of Scott Anderson.

(-)He doesn't just look for those specific issues
that relate to business in Utah,
but instead looks more broadly
at what he thinks is right for our entire state,
and that's why I think he has the kind of impact
he's able to have,
not just on our social structure,
but on our political environment as well.

(-)And he listens intently to everybody,
which I think is one of his greatest assets,
and strengths is his ability to actively listen.

(-)He's not only generous,
and Zions Bank is not only generous,
but when he gets involved,
it's not just to write a check,
it's not just to be generous,
but it's to really lend his intelligence,
and his experience, and his understanding.

(-)Zions Banks has been almost like a part of the family.
It helped finance us as we've grown our business.
They've been part of every significant change and event
in our company in good times and in tough times.

(-)When we were in the most difficult period of the pandemic,
Scott Anderson gave us his cell phone to call.

(-)I'd walk through fire for that guy.
He's done enough for me over the years,
and especially, you know, as a Hispanic businessman
in this state,
he has gone the extra mile.

(-)I think as humans,
we all look for leadership,
and also at each other for how to love better,
how to serve better.
Scott is always that steady figure who,
in our community over the years has always had an impact
from political to social issues.

(-)It's very evident that Scott cares deeply about
the needs of some of the most vulnerable people
in our communities,
and that his leadership and commitment and dedication
really help us achieve those goals here in Utah.

(-)I'd like to think of Scott as a person
who understands humanity and promotes it.
He's just a really good person, deep down, inside and out.
It's hard to go wrong when you're around Scott.

(-)But, the practical aspect of Scott Anderson
would make the Bankers Association proud
of his professionalism, his commitment, his work ethic,
and he will represent you,
and you'll be proud of how he conducts himself.
