TESTIMONIALS

I think this show is different because of the types of businesses and industries
together. You've got Midlands connect here which is huge - we represented the
whole region and then you've got the people who are very small SMEs and actually
giving them an idea of what’s going on in the wider world is invaluable to them.
Sarah Spink Stakeholder Management Lead, Midlands Connect Project Team

We really need to engage with the supply chain, both the tear ones, the tear
twos, tear threes and also the SME's seeking to be involved in delivering the
governments major infrastructure projects.
Matthew Vickerstaff Interim CEO, Infrastructure and Projects Authority

Were here to raise awareness of the project and to speak first hand with
suppliers of all different types, all different sizes to understand where they
see the opportunities on HS2, what can we do to support them so that they can be
in the best possible position to win work on the project.
Robin Lapish Supply Chain Manager, HS2

We have been doing a lot of talking today, this is such an interesting event and
actually have 0 time to take a breath because people are talking to you all the
time, it is really good.
Tina Zaal Infrastructure Solutions Team UK, Frugo

Its crucial that the national infrastructure strategy lives up to the
commitments that the government has made, so it means it needs to make the
fiscal remit a reality and provide this stable long-term funding that the
country’s infrastructure and its cities need.
Philip Graham National Infrastructure Commission, Chief Executive

Its really important that we get the message across to supply chain companies
how we can help them. The industry works very rich around networking and
bringing buyers and suppliers together and that’s what we focus on and its very
much what I think UKIS is about.
Elaine ClarkChief Executive Officer, Rail Forum Midlands
