August THREE DIVISIONAL BRANDS LAUNCHED The Group announces three standalone divisions dedicated to its core business activities: Taiga Cloud, Ardent Data Centers and Peak Mining. September NVIDIA ELITE STATUS ACHIEVED We are named an Elite Partner in the NVIDIA Partner Network (NPN). This status is reserved for trusted collaborators with considerable expertise. September NVIDIA H100 CHIPS ACQUIRED We acquire highly-sought-after Nvidia H100 GPUs[GB1] , which are purpose-built to power large language models (LLMs) and other AI projects. 2022 September NVIDIA PREFERRED CLOUD PROVIDER STATUS ACHIEVED We join the NVIDIA Partner Network as a Preferred Partner for Cloud Services in Europe. 2021 March NORTHERN DATA ACQUIRES HYDRO66 DATA CENTER The new site is in the city of Boden, northern Sweden, and is fully powered by green energy with up to 4.5 gigawatts of available hydropower. August NORTHERN DATA ACQUIRES DECENTRIC EUROPE We confirm the acquisition of server systems with 223,000 GPUs from Block.one. The hardware is powered by 100% renewable energy. September NORTHERN DATA ACQUIRES BITCOIN MINER BITFIELD N.V. We announce a major acquisition and becomes one of the leading global Bitcoin mining companies, with 33,000 of the latest-generation ASIC miners. Skip timeline 2020 January WE BEGIN TRADING AS NORTHERN DATA AG This is a change made in line with Northern Data’s strategic capabilities and ambitions, which extend beyond cryptocurrency mining. July DEVELOPMENT PARTNERSHIP WITH GIGABYTE We develop proprietary HPC services in cooperation with leading computer hardware manufacturer Gigabyte Technology.
