Portable rock art is human made markings on movable natural rock or stone.
Prehistoric rock art likely had magical and or religious significance. Although
difficult to date portable rock art, it does provide an important chronology of
the art, and thus the evolution of prehistoric man. After a request for analysis
of our figure stones, New Brunswick government archaeologists said, "We believe
the rocks are all naturally formed by weathering or from impurities (e.g. vugs,
voids, fossil inclusions)." Our research indicates otherwise. By visually
comparing dated portable rock art from Africa and Eurasia, some of our similar
pieces appear to range upwards of a million years old. Although not purely
scientific, it does raise more questions than answers. The portable rock art
shown above was found in New Brunswick, Canada. The top two left ones appear to
depict archaic humans. The top right appears to depict an archaic human to the
left and a modern human to the right. Below them are effigies of megafauna that
went extinct more than 10,000 years ago.

For millions of years animals crossed the Bering Strait in both directions
between Siberia and North America. Archaic human remains have been found
throughout Eurasia, dating as old as 2 million years. Prehistoric man has always
migrated following food sources. It’s only logical that they also crossed over
during the last million plus years, in multiple waves. This is contrary to the
outdated "Clovis First" theory, where the first Bering Strait human migration
only began approximately 13,000 years ago. The Smithsonian, “The earliest
discovered site is almost certainly not the first place of human habitation,
just the oldest one archaeologists have found so far.”

Rock art was the first global language and method of communication. It was a
means by which prehistoric humans expressed themselves, their surroundings and
religious beliefs, leaving behind a legacy of their symbolic meanings.
