Be ready to pay for health care costs now and in the future
The Health Savings Account (HSA) calculator can help you estimate how much to
set aside for health care expenses – now and in the future. In addition to
helping you plan for your current year’s contribution, the calculator can show
you how saving just a bit more or spending just a bit less each year could
impact your balance over the long term. Find out if you’re an HSA Saver or
Spender and tips for making the most of your HSA.

About Triple Tax Advantages: You can receive tax-free distributions from your
HSA to pay or be reimbursed for qualified medical expenses you incur after you
establish the HSA. If you receive distributions for other reasons, the amount
you withdraw will be subject to income tax and may be subject to an additional
20% tax. Any interest or earnings on the assets in the account are tax free. You
may be able to claim a tax deduction for contributions you, or someone other
than your employer, make to your HSA. Bank of America recommends you contact
qualified tax or legal counsel before establishing a HSA.

Bank of America makes available The HSA for Life® Health Savings Account as a
custodian only. The HSA for Life is intended to qualify as a Health Savings
Account as set forth in Internal Revenue Code Section 223. However, the account
beneficiary that establishes the HSA is solely responsible for ensuring that
he/she satisfies the Health Savings Account eligibility requirements set forth
in Section 223. If an individual/employee establishes a Health Savings Account
and he/she is not otherwise eligible, he/she will be subject to adverse tax
consequences. In addition, an employer who makes contributions to an HSA of an
ineligible individual may also be subject to adverse tax consequences. We
recommend that HSA applicants and/or employers contact qualified tax or legal
counsel before establishing a Health Savings Account.

select an anticipated investment return, consideration should be given to
factors affecting your potential return such as investment objectives, risk
tolerance, and the time horizon for the investment. Remember, past performance
is no guarantee of future results. Contribution limits are for the 2023 plan
year.

Investing through the Plan involves risk, including the possible loss of the
principal value invested.
