What is Cryptocurrency?

Cryptocurrency is a form of digital money that gets its value from community use
and adoption. Transactions are peer-to-peer ( no middleman ) and you are the
bank. You access your cryptocurrency ( money ) with a private key that is
generated when you create your wallet.

Who owns MasterStake?

MasterStake is owned by each and everyone of its holders and adopters -
essentially its COMMUNITY. MasterStake is a cryptocurrency, a decentralized form
of digital money. 

If something happens to my wallet who do I go to?

That depends on what wallet you use. Anyone can create a MasterStake Wallet or
add MasterStake to its existing wallet software. If you are referring to one of
the wallets listed under our official wallet page there are a few places you can
go.

What is a Masternode?

Masternode is defined as a governing hub in some cryptocurrency networks. It
requires an initial collateral of tokens (or a “stake”) to operate. You can
acquire the necessary collateral for a Masternode by accumulating MasterStakes
or by purchasing a fully hosted and managed Masternode .

If I lose my private key can I recover access to my MasterStake?

Only with our official mobile wallets. If you have a paper wallet or a desktop
wallet and lose access we cannot recover your funds. 

How can I make money with MasterStake

MasterStake is a form of money. You can trade MasterStake on various markets and
possibly gain or lose whatever currency is traded against it ( ie. USD ). You
can earn MORE MasterStake by staking (saving) and earning interest or earning
more coins with a Masternode.

Are my MasterStakes safe?

As long as you do not share your PRIVATE key with others it is very secure. The
only thing you can share publicly or with others is your PUBLIC key (
essentially your Wallet Address ). 

What is MasteStake based on?

The same thing many currencies ( especially cryptocurrencies ) are backed by -
the community that believes in its value.
