The boutique Country Club Collectables Gift Shop showcases Tasmanian Arts and
Crafts. The scent of Huon pine, the softness of local merino wool, and beautiful
handmade Tasmanian jewellery are among the many treasures to discover. Take home
a piece of Tasmania for yourself and for your friends.
The gift shop offers wrapping and accepts all major credit cards. All payments
are made at Hotel Reception.

Mountain bikes and helmets are available for hire and use at both our Hotel and
Villas properties. We have formed trails and bush tracks to explore. Simply
enquire at Guest Services.

For mountain bike riding enthusiasts, the world-class Blue Derby trails are a
1.5-hour drive from Country Club.

Competitive track cyclists staying at Country Club are a very short ride or
drive to the Launceston Silverdome, home of a premium cycling track, criterium
and carnival series’.

Country Club Tasmania is a proud sponsor of Cycling Tasmania and is a
bike-friendly accommodation facility.

The indoor swimming pool is heated to 25 degrees, ranging in depth from 1.1
through to 2.3m at the deep end of its 13m length. There is a wading pool,
sauna, and a spa hot tub to 30 degrees.

available for hire. Outdoor tennis courts are nearby.

Whether it’s family time at the pool or unwinding after a day at work, the
Country Club Villas indoor swimming pool is available for Resort and Villas
guests and centrally located near the Bolters precinct.

Pool towels are available at the facility for guest use.

 The Country Club Villas indoor swimming pool ranges descends from 1 metre to
1.5 metres deep along 13 metres. It is heated to 25 degrees and the spa hot tub
to 30 degrees.

The pool and spa is adjacent to the Villas gym.

Country Club has two all-weather tennis courts at the Resort which are flood-lit
at night.

There is one court at Villas for day time use.

complete with a viewing platform.

Pick up some duck food from Reception on your way out of the Resort foyer. Our
resident ducks by the lake will be delighted to see you and they always enjoy a
good feed.

LAKE WALK

Walk around the picturesque Country Club lake, taking in the views across to Ben
Lomond – Northern Tasmania’s ski field. Keep an eye out for wallabies, echidnas
and water birds. This walk takes approximately 20 minutes, with low to medium
activity level.


BUSH WALK

Explore the sights, sounds and smells of the native Tasmanian bushland. This
walk is a network of tracks commencing from behind the horse stables. The trails
wind around the horse paddocks and bushland providing flat trails together with
a few hills that will get your heart pumping!

From the top of the hill you can take in sweeping views across the city of
Launceston to one side, and the Meander Valley and Western Tiers to the other.

You’re likely to spot lots of native animals on this walk. It takes
approximately one hour return and is a high activity level.

Head down to the tennis courts at the Villas and nearby you’ll find a basketball
hoop. Ideal for the kids and grown-ups to shoot a few hoops or challenge
friends.

Take a stroll and enjoy the diverse range of artwork on show at County Club
Tasmania. The self-guided art tour will take you past spectacular landscape
photographs, featured local artists, and the Norman Lindsay Room.

Bingo is held every Wednesday in the Showroom. Doors open at 9:00 am and “eyes
down” at 10:30 am.

children, who must be under adult supervision at all times. The playground is
located near the picnic area.
